Assignment Capsule

As a Communications Consultant, you will create and utilize information and technological solutions to effectively communicate messages and strategies to diverse internal audiences. You will own the execution of Large Group communication tools and mediums internally (VSO, Sales Compass, Field Communication Calls, etc.). For both internal and external (Focus, Humana Connections, PA Newsletter, etc.) vehicles, you will drive the strategies and support/maintain on a day-to-day basis.

Other responsibilities include:

? Be the subject matter expert and point of contact regarding all internal and external communications to LG?s sales force, brokers and employers

? Build and execute communications strategies, selecting the appropriate media and timing for delivery

Be the systems administrator for the VSO-replacement system (TBD) which will entail tagging documents, organizing/refreshing content and being a filter on what is/is not included

Consult with internal business partners/owners to match organizational needs with the appropriate solutions

Work with business partners/owners throughout the organization to craft and effectively deliver messages/content to our sales force

Use your communication and learning knowledge and skills to design, create, and edit materials that allow target audiences to easily understand the implications of changes and key messages

Track and trend results and process improvements among the communication vehicles and provide regular updates to leadership

? Recommend, advocate and implement changes needed to improve the communication process and vehicles, both internally and externally

? Support the Large Group Sales Project Manager by producing clear, logical, and comprehensive communication plans specific to LG Sales related projects.

? Produce and manage timelines for accurate completion of multiple ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree

? 3-5 years of work experience in a professional environment

? Demonstrated creativity in solving problems

? Excellent verbal and written skills

? Demonstrated skill in the creation of communication strategies with varied delivery media

? Ability to collaborate independently with business and information technology experts

? Excellent planning and organizational skills

? Strong proofreading and editing skills

? Experience or familiarity with web-based tools/applications

Role Desirables

? Graduate degree preference

? Past experience working in or with a sales organization
