INFUSION KAMACHUI Equinoccio Uno music review by Evolver
Infusion Kamachui, with only two Ep's under their belt manages to create an interesting melange of art rock. On this EP, their second, they begin with Contranatura. This track brings to mind Bian Eno's work on his first solo album, Here Come The Warm Jets. This is a harsh blend of punky vocals and severe guitar licks. And it works well. Al Caer is a similar style, with an alt rock sonding lyric.
The next three tracks add some metal guitar licks into the mix as well. While it's not enough to call these songs purely metal, it adds some oomph to the album. Langosta Roja is the most experimental track. It begins with some rhythmic excursions, and ends with a Moonchild-like noodling jam at the end.
Muerte closes the album. It's a Spanish guitar piece, and contains the most time signature play on the album.
This may not be for everyone, but it does hold interest.
